Work with me
Support for migrants navigating identity transitions, belonging, and major life decisions across countries.
Thinking Partner Sessions for Migrants
Living between cultures can raise complex questions about identity, belonging, relationships, and direction.
Sometimes you don’t need therapy, advice, or coaching — you need space to think clearly with someone who understands the migrant experience.
That’s what these sessions are designed for.
I work as a thinking partner for migrants, helping you reflect on identity transitions, clarify decisions, and rebuild a sense of belonging across cultures.
-

live between cultures

You don’t need to be in crisis — just in transition.

I am not a psychologist, therapist, or medical professional.
These sessions are designed to complement — not replace — professional mental health care.
Migration is complex, and professional medical support remains essential.
The Identity & Belonging Consolidation Framework
A structured reflection model designed to help migrants understand identity transitions, rebuild belonging, and move forward with clarity.
Disruption
Migration often disrupts identity stability. Familiar routines, language, relationships, and professional roles can change at the same time, creating uncertainty and emotional strain. This stage focuses on identifying what has shifted and understanding how migration has impacted your sense of self.
2. Liminality
This is the in-between phase — when you are no longer who you were, but not yet who you are becoming. Many migrants experience confusion, loneliness, or a loss of grounding during this period. This stage focuses on normalizing this experience and creating stability while identity evolves.
3. Reconstruction
Once change is acknowledged, identity can be rebuilt intentionally. This stage focuses on clarifying values, redefining belonging, and aligning decisions with the person you are becoming. Instead of reacting to circumstances, you begin shaping identity consciously.
4. Integration
Integration is about creating coherence across cultures, experiences, and identities. Rather than choosing between past and present versions of yourself, you learn to hold both. This stage focuses on building a stable sense of self that can exist across countries and contexts.
